Job Description
Elaia is seeking a highly motivated ESG Analyst Intern/apprenticeship to join our team. The selected candidate will work closely with our head of ESG to support the integration of ESG criteria into our investment processes, monitor ESG performance of portfolio companies, and contribute to the development of our sustainability strategy.
Key Responsibilities

ESG Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of ESG reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze ESG trends and regulatory developments.

Sustainability Strategy Development:
- Support the team in defining and implementing Elaia's ESG strategy.
- Participate in the development of ESG-related policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies to enhance their ESG performance.

Research and Benchmarking:
- Conduct research on ESG best practices and industry standards.
- Benchmark portfolio companies' ESG performance against industry peers.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Assist in the communication of ESG initiatives to investors, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Support the organization of ESG-related events and workshops.
Preferred Experience

Educational Background:
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Finance, Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field.

Skills and Experience:
- Strong interest in ESG and sustainable finance.
- Excellent analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of ESG frameworks and standards (e.g., UN PRI, CSRD) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French proficiency is a plus.
